Popular Kenyan socialite Huddah Monroe on Thursday through her Instagram page raised questions on the Kenyan education system while defending her academic qualification.
The socialite who also doubles up as a business lady was responding to allegations that she is uneducated. According to Hudda, she did not attend university education due to poverty.
"Who came up with the idea that I did not go to school? I just didn't attend university coz of poverty. i have brains more than 99% of graduates. You are book smart, i am book smart and street smart.
"You can't outshine me EVER! Did you know all your top lawyers and members of parliament x Businessmen are my friends because i sit and reason with them like a Human Being and not a Man-Woman situation? Without a stupid degree? They leave the room loving me or in astonishment," Huddah wrote on her Instagram story.
The socialite claimed she had achieved a lot more than those with degrees. According to Huddah, only courses in traditional professions such as medicine, Technology and law could be excused.
"Nyinyi mkona degree show me what you've achieved with your degree. And I'll show u what I've achieved without a degree. You wasted your time gaining unnecessary info unless you are in IT or a Doctor, Lawyer or Nurse, Pilot etc Others, Whatever you went to school for, have you practise it yet or it's just a paper and graduation photo for memories?" Huddah's post on Instagram read.
Huddah is known for her posh and expensive lifestyle. She is also one of the most notable business ladies in the Kenyan showbiz industry.
