Members of the opposition allied to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga have maintained that President Uhuru Kenyatta manipulated the results, rigging him (Raila) out in the process.

And while the state has announced that the data taking exercise will be done digitally, Arati says that the same was the promise during the 2017 polls, which was allegedly manipulated anyway.

He, therefore, noted that it is still possible for the government to manipulate the census outcome for reasons it feels justifies the move.

"Wale wanasimamia hii wawe na hisia, tuwe na ukweli maana wakitaka si watafanya tu vile walifanya kwa uchaguzi; kuinterfere na mtandao," he said on Radio Citizen's Jungu Kuu on Wednesday night.

This translates to; "The people presiding over this exercise should be reasonable. If they want they can do the same thing they did during the elections; Manipulating the system."

Arati stressed on the need for accuracy in the exercise, calling upon the involved bodies and persons not to interfere with the statistics for the sake of Kenyans.

"People should respect God. We need to get the exact numbers and accurate statistics (Watu waheshimu Mungu tupate exact numbers tupate statistics kamili)," he added.
