A section of Kenyans on social media have expressed mixed reactions after Gor Mahia parted ways with renowned footballer Dennis Oliech.

In a tweet, the club said: "Gor Mahia and Dennis Oliech part ways. The club terminated his contract over misconduct cases".

The club, however, did not give more details on alleged cases of misconduct.

The announcement comes just eight months after Gor Mahia signed Oliech on a 2-year deal.
