Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has told off his Kapseret counterpart Oscar Sudi after the latter defended the immediate former Treasury CS Henry Rotich and call on resignation of president Uhuru and his deputy Ruto.
According to Sudi, both the president and his deputy had failed to provide solutions to the problems bedevilling Kenyans and there deserved no more chance to lead the country.
He urged the duo to resign to allow him (Sudi) to lead and appoint an assistant who had the best interests of Kenyans at heart like Moses Kuria.
Sudi was speaking to press on Wednesday in Eldoret, where he had argued that CS Rotich and company did not commit any offence.
He alleged that some forces in government were keen to sabotage projects in Rift Valley region, which Rotich had been working hard to ensure they were budgeted for. He posted the video of his speech on his official Facebook page."Mimi nafikiria rais Uhuru Kenyatta, hii kazi ya kuwa rais imekuwa ngumu kwako.Na ningeomba unpitie tu for three months niongoze ndio nitatafuta deputy wangu mwenye unaweza kuwa Kuria ambaye anaelewa shida ya mwananchi (In my opinion Mr.president this job of the presidency has become difficult for you.I request that you leave it to me for only three months. I can pick a deputy who can even be Kuria, who understands the challenges facing Kenyans)," Sudi said.
The sentiments irked Moses Kuria who in a rejoinder told Sudi to mind his own business and stop mentioning his name on issues that are before the court of law.
Kuria informed Sudi that he had been dealing with court cases facing him (Kuria) alone, with strict adherence to the rule of law and he would not solicit for any assistance from anybody.
"To Oscar Kipchumba Sudi. Do not drag me into your stupidity. I fight my battles in courts silently and with deference to the rule of law and the supremacy of the constitution," noted Kuria.
The vocal Gatundu legislator further claimed that his colleague was doing what amounted to 'sub-judice' by commenting on cases before the court.
He wondered how Sudi would behave if he were to be given an opportunity to be near statehouse in future.
