In a tweet on Sunday, Kipkorir said the Building Bridges Initiative report once unveiled, will bring forth a new political alignment that will open doors to all tribes and gender.

"Only those in denial think President Uhuru Kenyatta is still in Jubilee. Jubilee is all dead but in name," wrote Kipkorir."BBI will birth a new political alignment that opens Kenya leadership to all tribes and gender with equal chances," he added.

His based his argument on the fact that the president, who is the Jubilee party leader, had not set foot in Kibra to campaign for the party's candidate McDonald Mariga in the upcoming by-election.

According to Kipkorir, the president has turned his back on Mariga, despite reports that he endorsed and vowed to support him in the Kibra mini poll.

"As Uhuru turned his back on Mariga, so to Jubilee," he said.
