Ugandan socialite cum businesswoman Zari Hassan alias the Boss Lady has openly admitted that she has been using filters to enhance her look.
Zari who enjoys huge followers here in Kenya and East Africa has been receiving praises and attacks on social media in equal measures, with her look generating some attacks.
A section of social media users has been attacking the Boss Lady for faking life to look relevant after a bitter breakup with Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz, who is currently dating a Kenyan, Tanasha Donna.
In a recent interview with Ayo TV, Zari recalls how she was attacked by fans on Kenyan singer Akothee's page.
She said the expensive lifestyle she shows up is not faking but a reality.
However, the Boss Lady said she has been using filters to enhance her look an action she says is not a crime nor faking life.
She further noted that most women posting pictures on social media use filters.
"Filters zimeletwa kutumiwa (filters are there to be used) we all use filters, they will not change who we are, they only enhance a little bit of our looks, lakini ukinikuta mimi (if you meet me) in person, am still as beautiful as am supposed to be if not more than the pictures," said Zari.
