A number of top European clubs are reportedly lining up to sign Kenyan's Harambee Stars' skipper Victor Wanyama during this short January window.
Wanyama fell out of favour at Tottenham Hotspur since the arrival of the new manager José Mourinho.
Reports indicate at least three clubs are interested in securing Wanyama's service should Tottenham decide to offload him this January.
Some clubs which are eager to sign Wanyama include:
1. Celtic
The Scottish Premiership club is said to be planning to re-sign Wanyama from Tottenham this January. However, according to The Evening Standard, Tottenham will have to love the price tag on Wanyama before closing a business deal with Wanyama's former club.
Wanyama made history with Celtic when he scored a wonderful header against FC Barcelona in the Champions League, becoming first Kenyan to score a goal against the Laliga giants.
2. AC Milan
The Standard reports that the Italian club is also monitoring Wanyama's situation at Tottenham as they prepare to battle for European cups comeback. Milan is now at position 6 in the Serie A table after collecting a total of 32 points in 21 matches.
3. Three EPL clubs
Reports indicate West Ham, Norwich City and Aston Villa are also lining up for Wanyama's service. However, his weekly wages has emerged to be one of the bottlenecks these EPL clubs are concerned with.
A move to Aston Villa will see Wanyama partner with Tanzanian Mbwana Samatta, who signed a 4 and half years with the club.
