Six Kisumu County Assembly members have been directed to appear before the ODM party over claims of sabotaging Governor Anyang' Nyong'o.
The six have been summoned to appear before the party's disciplinary committee on August 30 with regards to their opposition to the county leadership that seems to have irked ODM.
They are Majority Leader Kenneth Onyango, Deputy Speaker Roy Samo, Chief Whip Gard Olima and nominated MCAs Caleb Omoro, Jane Manuche and Nyagoya Oguok.
In a letter signed by the Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee Paul Otieno, the group is required to explain why it has not been supporting Nyong'o's development agenda.
The summon comes only days after the house impeached county finance executive Nelly Achar on August 13, which seems to have further irked the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga-led bloc.
Olima who has since confirmed receiving the letter is also accused rallying members against the county executive and also holding a press conference and publicly maligning party and county leaders.
The nominated house members have on the other hand been accused of ignoring the party by not pushing for its interests, despite it having pushed for their nomination to the assembly,
