Raila Junior has hit out at Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa following her arrest after she stormed the home Ganda Ward ODM candidate Ruben Katana.
In a tweet, Junior said Jumwa has now embarked on side shows at the expense of development.
He said that Jumwa has been engaging in dirty politics since the handshake. Junior accused Jumwa of throwing insults at different leaders, adding that her career has taken a wrong turn.
“Nothing really good comes from Aisha Jumwa these days, her politics is getting murkier and personal each and every single passing day, if she is not throwing insults ,she is smearing someone else in a bad way, very unfortunate,” he tweeted.
Jumwa was arrested at around 3 am Wednesday. The police camped outside her house before they arrested her. The arrest came after the uncle of the aspirant died under unclear circumstances.
Jumwa reportedly stormed the place after she realised the candidate had invited agents to his home. She questioned why the politician met his allies when the campaign period had elapsed.
Jumwa is set to appear in court to respond the charges leveled against her. The lawmaker has, vowed to support Deputy President William Ruto in the 2022 General elections.
