Popular gospel musician Linet Munyali alias Size 8 revealed on Friday that working with former secular singer Wahu Kagwi was a dream come true.
Speaking during an interview on Milele FM, Size 8 reflected back to the day she first met Wahu in 2011 during a Safaricom live show.
According to the 'Mateke' singer, she was an upcoming musician while Wahu, on the other hand, was already established in the music industry. It is during this time that Size 8 vowed to herself that she will have to one day work with Wahu.
"The first time I met Wahu was in 2011. Safaricom Live that time only signed top artistes. So I was an upcoming artiste; I was the curtain-raiser, you know those who perform first to open up for other artistes. So I met Wahu and I was like wow! What an artiste! And I said, one day I will work with Wahu."
"(The first time nili meet Wahu was in 2011,was it 2011? Yes 2011. Safaricom Live that time artiste ukisigniwa huko wewe ni bingwa wa mabingwa, unajua. So me I was an upcoming artiste, mimi ndio nilikua nafunguanga ile stage, unajua wale huwa wanfungulianga watu, yes I was the curtain-raiser. So I met Wahu and I was like wow! What an artiste! Nilikuwa nasema one day nitaimba na Wahu)," Size 8 narrated.
