The legislator who has been out of the country for the medication in France was illustrating the importance of listening to the wise sayings of the forefathers when he cheered up the audience with the song ‘Roho Yangu’ which was sung by Rich Mavoko.

This was during the Kibra Music festival which was held at Moi girls.

“There is an artist from Tanzania who plays Bongo flava. He says; 'when you are clever being played is a secret (Kuna jamaa mmoja kutoka huko Tanzania alicheza bongo flava anasema; Hayo maneno walinena wazee wa zamani, ukiwa mjanja kuchapiwa ni siri ya ndani),” Okoth stated.

The MP was appreciating his Westlands counterpart Timothy Wanyonyi, whom he described as a true friend, for always helping him out in terms of delivering services to the people of Kibra despite his absence.

The cheerful legislator was making his first public appearance after returning back into the country.

Nairobi Senator John Sakaja who had attended the event congratulated Okoth for initiating beneficial programs for the people of Kibra despite the hard circumstances he was going through.
