Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior has weighed in on the troubles of controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna.
In a tweet on Wednesday morning, Mutula said it is unfair for the government to block Miguna from coming to his motherland.
The vocal legislator said that Miguna deserves better treatment than what he was subjected to when he wanted to fly back to Kenya.
"One day someone will be held accountable for the outright violations of Dr. Miguna’s rights as a Kenyan," he tweeted.
Miguna was on Tuesday stranded at a German airport. He was later allowed to fly to Kenya before Air France ejected him from his seat moments before the plane left the airport.
Miguna, however, said that he is determined to fight for his rights despite being blocked from coming back into the country. He faulted the President Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Amolo Odinga for his woes.
"Air France removed me from Flight AF0814 from Charles De Gaulle Airport to JKIA, which was about to take off. Despot Uhuru Kenyatta and Conman Raila Odinga are so afraid, cowardly, tyrannical and weak that they have sent RED ALERTS to all airlines. We shall never surrender," he tweeted.
The lawyer also believes that his deportation amounts to the violation of his rights as a Kenyan citizen.
