Despite stating on numerous occasions that his future lies at his current side, Tottenham Hotspur, reports continue to link him with a move away from the London-based side before the start of the 2019/2010 league season.

The latest reports indicate that the holding midfielder's situation at Spurs is being monitored by Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, with a view of signing him in the near future.

A Turkish publication known as Fanatik, reports that Fenerbahce’s director of football Damien Comolli will meet with Spurs' representatives in the near future over the transfer of the 28-year-old Kenyan player.

Wanyama recently denied claims that he may be on his way out of Spurs, after the club signed defensive midfielder Tanguay Ndombele from French side, Lyon.

"I will be back in training with Hotspur next week. I do not want to dwell much on speculations because it's normal for a player to be linked with other clubs when the transfer window is open but I'm not going anywhere," Wanyama said as quoted by goal.com

Wanyama joined Spurs in 2016 from Southampton. He remains with two years on his Spurs' contract.
