Several schools in Kisumu County celebrated their good performance immediately the 2014 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Schools results were released.

At Maseno School, teachers joined students in celebrating what they termed as the best results ever produced by the school.

School Principal Paul Otula read out the results to the students who applauded their former school mates for the good performance.

Otula said it is sheer hard work coupled with discipline that has earned the school the good performance.

He said all the students who sat the examination last year have scored marks that will earn them a chance in the university.

“Our results start from B minus where we have 6, B plain 17, B plus 47, A minus 94 and A plain 83,” he said.

Otula said Maseno School has produced exemplary results that put it ahead of the rest in the region.

“I want to thanked students, teachers board of governors and parents teachers association for walking together to realize these goo results,” he said.

There was dance and song as students’ of Kisumu Girls High School stormed out of the school to celebrate their good performance.

The students walk up to Governor Jack Ranguma’s office singing and dancing while accompanied by their teachers.

Chemelil Academy also broke into song after learning that the school has posted excellent results.
