Leaders from Mavoko Sub-county have been urged to support nurture talents of youths from the region to help them achieve their dreams and improve their living standards.
Adressing youth from his office on Tuesday, Mavoko Sub-county youth officer, Maurice Muya, said it was high time leaders from the region appreciated and supported the youth.
“Leaders from this region need to recorgnise and appreciate youth and their talents since if nurtured can make them earn their livelihoods, improve their living standards, and change their lives forever," said Muya.
Muya argued that this would sort out challenges of inadequate job opportunities for the youth because they could earn their livelihoods from their talents.
He asserted that it had been proved that talents pay and it pays across the world reason why it would be of great importance the leaders from the region also invested in it.
The youth officer called on the youth from the region to turn up in numbers and showcase their talents this Saturday at a talent show day event sponsored by the Athi River Member of County Assembly, Michael Mutua.
