Dr William Ruto's endless meetings with a host of delegations from the country in Karen cannot help him win State House race, Timothy Bosire has said.
On Tuesday, Dr Ruto held a closed-door meeting with Gusii youths at Karen with the agenda still remaining a closely guarded secret.
However, a source said that Dr Ruto steered clearly off politics, only focusing on spearheading development agenda for Nyamira County.
"He didn't speak much politics. Infact, he steered off the topic. He said the government will focus on completing existing projects in the county," he said.
It was not the first time Dr Ruto was meeting a delegation from Gusii given that he had previously hosted MPs and his supporters at the venue.
But former Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire says Dr Ruto's meetings are valueless, adding that he's engaging in early campaigns with aim of sabotaging Uhuru.
"Those trips and meetings are valueless. I don't think there is something new came out of it. The president gave orders freezing new projects and Ruto cannot launch any," he said.
"He is teaching our MPs laziness. They should be in parliament doing some constructive things instead of going to homesteads to discuss non issues."
Dr Ruto has identified Gusii region as a tossup and has planned intensive activities next year as he plans to raid the region which has traditionally backed Raila Odinga.
