Kiambu County Governor William Kabogo has refuted claims that he was involved in hiring of goons that interrupted Monday’s public forum meeting organised by the Senate Finance committee in Thika town.

Speaking in his Thika office on Tuesday morning Kabogo said as a prominent and legible leader who respects other leaders he can not organise goons to carry out such acts.

He claimed that the public interrupted the meeting as they did not have information about it.

Kabogo said that he is not to blame for the chaos that erupted in the meeting as he was not the organiser. 

The county boss has called on the Thika police to probe on the incident and apprehend the people responsible for the chaos which are alleged to have been planned.
