As you prepare yourself to look for a job, you have to prepare yourself for interviews as well. Your performance during an interview determines whether you'll land the job or not.
Here are 3 key things an employer will expect from you during an interview;
1. To look charming and confident
From when you are entering the interview room to the end of the interview, the employer expects you to be charming and confident. Expressing confidence would make them warm up on you and maybe loosen the interview to accommodate you.
2. Understand the company and what it does
You can't be seeking for a job in a company that you have less idea about. I mean you need to have enough knowledge on the company and what it does. Research on the company prior to the interview to avoid self disappointment.
Sometimes interviewees only test your knowledge on the company and how conversant you are with its purpose.
3. Understand the job description
Of course you applied for a job but how much do you understand that meaning and requirements of the job. Understanding the job description puts you in a better position to convince the employer that you are fit for the job.
