In an interview with Point Blank on KTN News last night, Kuria reiterated that the second in command needs to be careful as he seeks to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.

He also condemned acts of the assassination of leaders saying that taking another person’s life is not a good idea.

Kuria also said that the whole issue should be left to the office of the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to probe politicians behind the same before sharing with the public.

“As I have said before, these allegations can break this government. It would be very wrong if some people can plot the murder of another. We leave it to the DCI to complete their investigations," he said, as quoted by Standard.

The vocal MP also said that the differences between President Kenyatta and Ruto’s team are likely to wreck Jubilee. He noted that whereas Uhuru is committed to ensuring Kenya is united, Ruto wants to win the hearts of the people to back his candidature before that time comes.

He asked the two leaders to speak in one voice so that they ensure the government achieves its vision before Uhuru leaves power.
