Nakuru matatu operators who use the Free area route and Langa langa have expressed concern over low business after they were re-located to a new site.
The affected operators were relocated to the new site to pave way for hawkers and vendors who were removed from the streets to the new site which the Matatu used.
Those operating on Free area route were re-located to a lane near the Wakulima market while those operating on Langa langa were re-located to a lane near Legacy hotel. Those operating on the narrow lane near Wakulima market complained of the limited space leading to traffic jam and lack of parking space for their vehicles.
"We have a problem ferrying our luggage from the town center to the stage," complained Dancun Njeru, a passenger who uses the Langa langa matatus.
The operators are now urging the county government to find another alternative stage where they can conduct their business with ease.
