A Sunday school teacher was Wednesday arraigned before a Molo Law court and charged with sodomizing 15 boys.
David Mugo, 35, was accused of sodomizing the boys, aged between 8 and 13 at Kasarani area in Elburgon.
Appearing before Molo Resident Magistrate James Wanyanga Mugo, the accused denied committing the offence.
The court ordered that he be remanded at Elburgon Police station until investigations on the matter are concluded.
The court agreed to the demand by the police officers who appealed for more time to investigate the incidents as they were continuing to get information from all the complainants.
Magistrate Wanyanga warned the residents against interfering with the ongoing investigations.
“We will not tolerate those threatening to harm the suspect as we have been informed they attempted to do so at Nyayo Hospital in Eburgon. Let the law take its course.
"If he committed the offence, action will be taken according to the law. I am warning the residents to refrain from any interference with the witnesses as the police have already started carrying out investigations,” he said.
Police officers had a hard time controlling the residents who wanted to lynch the suspect when he was taken to the hospital on Tuesday to have him tested.
