Jose Chameleone, an East African Superstar rocked fans at a live concert in the lakeside city ahead of Christmas season.

Chameleone aka Joseph Mayanja performed at club Samba Marina in Kisumu in a crowded event with his fans thronged the venue as from 5pm.

He toured various places such as Nakumatt Mega city, Tuskys Mall and the lakeshore within Kisumu city in a snaky entourage on Sunday.

Chameleone had performed at the club’s branch in Nakuru and Eldoret towns before his arrival in Kisumu.

The Ugandan star was accompanied by local artistes Joseph Ogidi aka Gidigidi among others. 

Chameleone is now trying to roll out to the international scene as exhibited by his many awards won both locally and internationally.

Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania are linked by Swahili and Jose has proved that he can be a Swahili entertainer through his music.

Chameleone said he loves Kenyans.

“I am proud to be in Kenya, It is Kenyans who made me whom I am today,” he said.

He said would be happy to perform many times across the country during the festive season.

Club Samba Marina Executive Director Patrick Awilo said they recorded booming business with Chameleone’s performance.

He said, “We are working to bring him back before the end of the year following demands by fans.”
