The Relatives of the late Magu are crying for justice over the death of the entire lineage, alleging it was an inside job that murdered the family members.
Led by Samuel Muhiu, the parent of the deceased Paul Magu said that police are not vigilant to investigate the murder of his son, daughter in-law and grandchildren, who succumbed to mysterious death alleged to be exorcism.
Mzee says that the preacher who was apprehended should explain in details why his lineage were dying one by one, immediately after the prayers she was conducting with them for fourteen days.
The old man added that Magu was a happy family and the mysterious death is confusing since they were admirable couples he has ever seen.
“The preacher should explain why my children died since they were living a happy life that even me I admired at my old age,” said Muhiu.
However, Police in Kiambu are holding a 48 year-old pastor, Ann Wambui, who is believed to have played a big role in the family’s decimation in what the country now believes to have been a religious ritual sacrifice.
According to the police, Wanyoro was involved in family’s annihilation and it’s reported to be performing cultic rituals on the family 14 days ago, and immediately after the killings started.
The family spokesman Andrew Kamau said that Wanyoro should not be released from the authority until justice is delivered, not only to the family but the entire nation.
“She should not be released and the Kiambu court should do justice to the family since Wanyoro must pay,” Kamau stated.
The two were speaking on Tuesday during the funeral ceremony of the Magus in Kimuchu village, Juja sub-county.
