Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has condemned the State for failure to guard its citizens from external aggression.

Spesking on Tuesday at Itongo Sengera and Metamaywa Secondary Schools when he was dispersing CDF Funds, Bosire blamed the government for ignoring intelligence reports concerning terror attacks.

He told the the government to engage and bring on board security stakeholders and establish an amicable remedy to the insecurity in the country.

"I strongly urge the State to take security issues seriously. There is not way the State can turn down intelligence alerts of possible attacks and still claim it is in the fight against terror," said Bosire.

Bosire who is also the ODM Party National Treasurer told the government to withdraw Kenya Defence Forces from Somalia to end what he termed as retaliatory attacks by Al-Shabaab militia group.

The outlawed Al-Shabaab sect has vowed to continue with the attacks till the government withdraws its troops from Somalia.

The Al-Shabaab sect has always claimed responsibility in the subsequent attacks ranging from the Westgate, Mandera massacre and the latest one is of Garissa University that rendered more than 150 students dead.
