Wachira said that improving infrastructure will enable residents to conduct their businesses and move with ease.

“The county government should improve road infrastructure to ease movement and conduct business,” he said.

Mr Wachira said that most roads are rendered impassable especially during heavy rains hence inconveniencing business people. He also asked the county to fast-track installation of street lights and CCTV cameras saying they will curb crime.

He observed that traders are not able to conduct business at night and that having street lights will encourage a 24 hour economy. Mr Wachira asserted that Naivasha is a fast growing economy and that there must be proper infrastructural development.

At the same time, the MCA called on the county government to supply residents with clean water.

He said that despite the sub county having large water bodies like Lake Naivasha, locals have no access to clean water. Wachira added that water is scarce commodity in the sub county noting that measures should be formulated to ensure residents have water.
