MP Mathira Rigathi Gachagua has raised concern over the issues that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) will resolve ahead of its release on Tuesday.
Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV on Monday, the lawmaker said that the report will not address the issue of electoral violence upon its release.
The lawmaker argued that the report is not all-inclusive because several issues remain a problem.
Gachagua said that he will only support the report if it aims at improving the lives of Kenyans and not creating positions for some individuals in the government.
"There are very many issues that need resolving in this country, if the BBI will resolve issues, you cannot then just tell us that they will be constitutional or political. Also, BBI will not solve electoral violence," he said.
On the issue of Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's EACC summons, Gachagua said that the people of the county should take the blame for the choice they made.
The lawmaker said that Sonko has shown his flaws but the residents must be prepared to support his government.
"All I can say to Nairobi people is “Choices have consequences. Garbage in, garbage out. The leaders you choose define what happens to your life & what you consider to be important” he said.
