Kilifi County Governor Amason Jeffer Kingi and his Kwale counterpart Salim Mvurya are the latest to send their messages of condolence.

This is after Twabara collapsed and died during a wedding in Kwale on Sunday

Kingi said that he learned about the demise of the NCIC new appointee with deep shock.

The governor described the death as a huge blow not only to the Coast region but also to the entire nation.

"It is with deep shock that I have learnt...the passing on of @NCIC_Kenya Vice-Chair Fatuma Tabwara. Our condolences to the family, friends and the Country. May the Almighty God rest her soul in eternal peace," he tweeted.

In his message, Mvurya said that death has left him without words, adding that the deceased was indeed a trailblazer of Women's leadership in this nation.

He promised to stand with the kin during this moment of trial.

"Her death is a major loss not only to communities living around but indeed for the whole country, " Mvurya said as quoted by the Star.
