Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura has revealed that things are no longer rosy and running smoothly inside the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led Jubilee Party.
The party has been seen to be limping lately, which the Senator on Saturday confirmed, saying that its think tanks have as well not been of any help in restoring calm.
He said that the party is disorganized from within, hence the growing in-rivalry between the warring Kieleweke and Tangatanga factions of the ruling bloc.
"In Jubilee there are good thinkers but they are disorganized. In Jubilee we are disorganized," he said on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi show on Saturday morning.
He proposed that the party's only remedy lies in a convention of a members' meeting to enable them iron out their differences, failure to which the it will continue suffering.
He warned that the party risks being reduced to nothing by upcoming parties should the confusion and infighting prevail.
"We need to sit down and correct things in our house as otherwise, we will be overtaken (Tukae chini tutengeze nyumba yetu ama tutapitwa)," he added.
Similar calls have been made by members of the Tangatanga side of the party, which Uhuru through Statehouse Spokesperson Kanze Dena a fortnight ago said will not happen.
