Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago has challenged residents to present their grievances and critiques to his leadership style and development record.

The governor on Sunday said he is willing to be corrected on where he as gone wrong adding that he is not perfect in his leadership and residents have a right to correct him.

“Leadership is not an easy task and I am willing to be corrected where I have gone wrong. Wananchi have the right to correct me,” said Mandago.

The governor said he is ready for positive criticism which results in a way forward for the development, adding that many people have been tarnishing the image of his leadership

However, Mandago added that every citizen who resides in the county has the right to inquire and know how the county government spends its resources.

“I would like to tell all residents that you have a right to inquire and know how the county spend your taxes and you have a right to know,” added the governor.

In a response to his rivals, the governor said the determining factor of his success or failure was time and appealed them to give him time to finish his term.
