For the second time in over 15 months, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula will pitch tent in Nyamira on Friday for a prize giving day, it has been confirmed.
Apparently, Wetangula's Friday trip comes a fortnight after Deputy President William Ruto traversed the county which projects 400,000 voters by 2022.
The DP was hosted by North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko, Vincent Kemosi of West Mugirango and Kitutu Masaba's Shadrack Mose.
And at St Peter's Nyaisa Secondary, Wetangula shall be ushered in by Mr Kemosi, who has already declared support for Deputy President William Ruto.
"Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula will be our guest at St Peter's Nyaisa on Friday, I urge all residents to come in numbers and witness the occasion," Kemosi said.
The Ford Kenya MP however, did not field questions on his loyalty, only indicating that he still supports the party's manifesto and doctrines.
"We shouldn't be focusing on politics. Our event tomorrow is purely educational in nature and let's restrict ourselves to that. It's good that way," he said.
Mr Wetangula is keen to contest presidency in 2022. Over the weekend, he asked former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to support his bid having backed him in 2013 and 2018.
