Former presidential candidate Mwalimu Abduba Dida has blasted the government after a State appointment of former Othaya MP Mary Wambui.
The former legislator was appointed to be the Chairperson of the National Employment Authority for a period of three years starting from October 14, 2019.
Her appointment caused mixed reactions from Kenyans with Dida predicting that the government is destined to fail with such appointments.
In a tweet on Monday, the Alliance for Real Change party leader poked holes into her appointment.
''So former MP Mary Wambui has been appointed to head Kenya National Employment Authority! When you think you've seen it all and nothing can surprise you anymore, the government pulls another one! The consistency and dedication towards failure by this government is just shocking,'' wrote Dida.
The government also gave the widower of former Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso, Edwin Jacob Abonyo, a State job.
Abonyo was appointed as a member of the State Corporations Advisory Committee.
Other appointments the government made include; Jeremiah Matagaro (Committee Chairman), Wanjiku Wakogi (Committee Secretary) while Cecil Kuyo, Tom Maina Macharia, Gloria Ndekei, Winfred Kaburu, Roselyn B. Tumpeyo and Cyrus Gituai were appointed as members of the committee.
