Political analyst Prof Herman Manyora has said that Deputy President (DP) William Ruto won't realize his 2022  presidential ambitions despite appearing like a strong front-runner for now.

The DP is currently ranked among the most followed leaders, both by Kenyans and fellow politicians, thanks to his solid support base and successful raids on opposition bedrocks.

But Manyora now says that all this will with time fade off, as soon as a joint alliance of President Uhuru Kenyatta, and ODM leader Raila Odinga embark on their plot to 'finish' him.

In a video dubbed 'Why Ruto is leaving government' posted on his YouTube analysis channel on Saturday, the prof told the DP to prepare for massive arrests of his allies.

This, he said, will with time render him all alone and with nobody to turn to, resulting in his terrible defeat as the other team continues to secure the top seat and the government.

"You will get to 2022 isolated In fact, those who remain with you may not be of much help to you," said the commentator.

He advised the DP to prepare for political hammering of his allies, especially those likely to stick with him.

Prof Manyora predicted that most of Ruto's allies will be limping by 2022, including the likes of Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen.

"Murkomen, by 2022 he will be limping, such a limping man will not be of much help to you," he opined.
