Leaders from different parts of the country have continued to send their messages of condolence to the family of the late Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore.
Bob passed away on Monday morning leaving behind a wife and four children.
Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi have shared their condolence messages with the family.
Sonko eulogised Collymore as a man who was selfless in serving others despite having been ill for a long time.
“My deepest condolences to family, friends, and staff of Safaricom company following the death of Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore. Collymore performed his duties selflessly despite his illness. God be with you until we meet again," Sonko said.
On his part, Mudavadi noted that Collymore will be remembered for his commitment to charity.
"My heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives, and friends of Robert (Bob) William Collymore. He shall not only be remembered for his corporate excellence while at the helm of Safaricom but also for his commitment to charity," Mudavadi said.
Bob died after a long battle with cancer.
Other leaders who have mourned Bob include President Uhuru and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
