Kiambu governor William Kabogo has put on notice road contractors who do shoddy works.

The governor said that contractors awarded contracts to repair and renovate roads across the county must do a good job.
“Contractors who have been given work to repair our roads should make sure that they do a commendable job. We will not accept shoddy works on our roads,” he said.
He said the county government has invested heavily or infrastructure noting that plans to construct over 250 kilometres of roads in the next one and half years are under way.
“We intend to complete all road renovations and other projects before 2017 to enable the people enjoy services,” he said.
Kabogo said that construction and renovation of 250 kilometres of roads will commence next month.
He said the county government has partnered with local and foreign investors to boost infrastructure development.
