Speaking at a milk farmers' meeting in Mitero,Gatundu North, Gabriel Ngugi, the Chairman of Mang'u Progressive Dairy said that the government needs goodwill from all people.

"The government is eager to work with all of us. What I would like to request you is that we work together so that we can move forward as one," said Ngugi.

Mang'u MCA, Samuel Kimani who spoke in the same event said that he will back the farmers in boosting dairy farming in the area.

"I am happy to see that Mitero residents have been able to come together and form a dairy. As their MCA, I will ensure they get all that they need," said Kimani.

"I will talk to the Governor about their demands just to ensure that dairy farming in Mang'u gets to the next level," added Kimani.

The meeting had been convened to discuss various issues; electing new officials being one of the agenda.
