Students from Matungulu Constituency in Machakos County are set to benefit from Ksh20 million set aside from the CDF kit for bursary.
Member of Parliament for Matungulu Stephen Mule argued residents to obtain the application forms from the CDF offices and return them filled before the deadline set for December 5th 2014 adding that children from poor families and orphan will be given priority in the bursary allocation.
The MP encouraged all eligible students from Matungulu Consistuency to apply for the bursary adding that the constituency was constructing five new Secondary schools through the CDF kit at a cost of Ksh16 million to help boost education in the area.
He added that the schools will enable low income earners from the constituency gain access to secondary education.
