Moiben MP Silah Tiren has applauded the move by the US government move impose travel bans on individuals implicated in corruption terming as on point.
Speaking in his office on Monday Tiren said the move shows solidarity and support of the US with Kenya in the fight against corruption.
"I support the move by the United State government since it will deny them a chance to travel abroad and hide the stolen from poor Kenyans," he said.
Tiren said that the US should go ahead to not only impose travel bans but also freeze their accounts.
"Corruption is a menace that has cost this country to loose billions of shillings at the taxpayers expense and should be fought to the latter by all well-wishers," he said.
He says through a combined effort with stakeholders such as the US and other development partners, the fight against corruption will be won.
"I urge other foreign countries to help Kenya in the fight against corruption," he added.
