Pastor Mbego Onyariki said couples should remain faithful in marriage for the sake of building strong marriages.

"There is no marriage which can be strong if couples are unfaithful. I humbly request church faithfuls who are already in marriage to respect their marriages by avoiding committing adultery," he said.

Pastor Mbego argued that God will not hear prayers from followers who do not follow the church rules.

He attributed increased cases of people being infected with sexually transmitted diseases to carelessness where couples engages in adultery.

The pastor was categorical that several young girls are engaging in prostitution due to lack of proper guidance by parents.

"It is alarming that young girls have ventured into prostitution, selling their bodies because a section of parents have neglected their parental responsibilities.

"The lives of the future generation may not be smooth as a result of unsafe sex. Any married man or woman should be faithful in his or her marriage so that children can follow," he stated.

He was speaking on Sunday at Nyamataro PAG Church where he regretted that high rate at which ladies are joining sex trade
