Members of Kisumu County Assembly have faulted the county government for not facilitating team building among county officials.
Speaking at a Kisumu hotel during a conventional forum, the MCAs, led by Nominated county representative Caroline Ogot, challenged the county government to convene team building forums to foster teamwork among county officials.
She urged the county government to allocate funds towards team building noting that in a working environment teamwork was very essential since it creates a rapport between county officials in different positions.
“In every setup of management, there should be team building forums meant to unite the officials, shape their thinking and boost their morale,” she said.
Nominated MCA Lydia Odhiambo, speaking at the same event, also started that out-of-office engagements would be important in fostering cooperation between county officials.
She explained that a management with peaceful co-existence was likely to achieve their objectives.
