"My orders are in line with the earlier orders which were made more than 2 years ago by Judge Roselyne Wendoh whereby she directed the community to move out of the land  which is owned by the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organisation. I therefore gives the community 30 days to look for an alternative land to live", Judge lucy waithaka said

Judge Lucy Waithaka was giving ruling yesterday at the Environment and Lands Court on Nakuru in an application where KALRO had sought orders to compel the police to forcefully evict the community which had gone ahead to defy orders which were made in the month of March 2012.

Speaking outside the court, Isahakia lawyers Fred Adhuok and Ibrahim Ali told the journalists that they were going to appeal to the ruling. "We are still not satisfied with the ruling and we are going to appeal. We need justice to take place to this case since if the ruling's action is taken, people living in the land will suffer because majority of them do not have any other place to go", Adhuok said
