Speaking in Gilgil town on Thursday when he officially took over from his predecessor Paul Githenji, Ogada, who has been serving as Kuresoi south administrator said that he understands the sensitive nature of the land issue, and promised to employ all possible ways in resolving the issue.

He promised to work with local leaders and community leaders in finding an amicable solution to the land problem in Gilgil.

“I am very well aware of the kind of problems the people of Gilgil are facing and the biggest issue is that of land but I want to promise that I will do my best to find the best solution to the land problem in this area,” said Ogada.

“I will work together with local leaders, church leaders, and politicians in trying to solve the sensitive land issue here,” added Ogada.

Ogada called on all county staff in Gilgil to work with him in ensuring that residents receive the services they deserve from the county government.

“I expect maximum cooperation from all county staff in Gilgil and I believe if we work together towards one common goal then the people will get the services they deserve,” he said.
