Thika Constituency MP Alice Ng'ang'a has promised facelift all chiefs office in the area.
Nga'ang'a promised to give out Sh1 million from Thika Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
"The money will enable the administrators fight the illicit brews and fuel the officer vehicles while on duty to serve residents," said Ng'ang'a.
Ng’ang’a commended area administrators for the big role they play in promoting peace and cohesion among residents at grass root level.
“It is national government’s role to ensure our chiefs welfare is taken care of so that they can be able to serve locals effectively,” said Ng’ang’a.
Her step, to release Sh1 million, was lauded by the deputy president William Ruto who was with her during persons with disability equipment presentation at Joy town secondary school.
Ruto said that the government is committed to fight insecurity and corruption country wide.
He said that vibrant and determined leaders like Alice Nganga will help the government deliver its manifesto.
