Kikuyu Member of Parliament has poured scorn on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party after President Uhuru Kenyatta gazetted members of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
Writing on Twitter on Monday, the outspoken governing Jubilee Party legislator held the view that the ODM politicians, whom he described as busybodies, would now concentrate on the Big Four Agenda.
He said that state resources to support the BBI resources would only be availed to the gazetted members and not the ODM politicians.
"And with President Uhuru Kenyatta gazette notice today of the task force team, the Odm busy bodies masquerading as BBi campaigners can now concentrate on the BIG FOUR agenda to change the lives of Kenyans. State resources should only be to the gazetted team not the busy bodies, " the avowedly DP Ruto-backing MP wrote in his Monday tweet.
Politicians allied to Deputy President Dr William Ruto have taken issue with the so-called BBI meetings being held by politicians allied to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga.
The DP himself has claimed that the BBI meetings are being funded by public resources, something that he has termed as illegal.
Preparations are in top gear for another BBI meeting to be held at the Bukhungu Stadium.
