Two brothers from Samara village in Kisii County have been hospitalized, at Kisii Lev 5 hospital, after severely injuring one another in a fight over their father’s one acre piece of land.
According to Samara chief, Samson Manyisa, the two brothers: Eric Mogere and Daniel Mogere have been having a long term quarrel over family land.
“The two were fighting over a piece of land. Each claim that the father left him the land before he succumbed to death,” said Manyisa.
According to Jemimah Mogere mother to the two, she had already quelled the fight where he had shared the land between the two.
“I will talk to my sons and get a permanent solution because in the mid of the fight they would have lost their lives and probably no one would have gained from the fight nor from the land,” she said.
The two were fighting for a half -acre piece of land located in Ogembo.
