According to Naivasha sub-county police commander Samuel Waweru, two center managers are fighting for their lives in hospital following the accident.

He said the Rev Jeremiah Gitau secondary school principal and two center managers were heading to Naivasha town to collect KCSE papers when their vehicle rammed into a stalled lorry near governor's camp.

"The school head died on the spot while her colleagues sustained serious injuries," said Waweru as reported by Nation.

He said those injured are receiving treatment at Kijabe mission hospital, while the body of the deceased has been moved to Naivasha sub-county hospital mortuary.

He said plans have been made to supply the affected schools with exams.

"We have senior ministry of education officials who have taken control of the situation in the two private schools and a deputy principal will be in charge of the public school," said the administrator.

Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development Chief Executive Officer Dr Julius Jwan was forced to cut short his Nakuru tour to visit the affected schools.
