Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has urged youths from his constituency to be patient, as he works on the relocation of the police recruitment center.
Speaking to this writer on Saturday morning, Bosire said he is having discussions with National Police Service Commission (NPSC) Boss Johnstone Kavuludi, to see the Amabuko center moved, to ease movement of participants.
“I ask youths from my constituency to remain calm as am having talks with NPSC Chairman to see the Amabuko center relocated to Kitutu Masaba so that our youths can participate in the coming recruitment,” he said.
The MP also urged the youth to turn up in large number in the exercise, which kicks off on Monday 20 countrywide.
He however advised the percipients not to engage in bribing or canvassing to increase chances of scooping the opportunity.
This comes a week after youths from Kitutu Masaba constituency protested, calling for the Amabuko police recruitment center be transferred to their constituency for convenience.
The court put on hold and the NPSC nullified the last year's recruitment of 10,000 police officers, after adverse allegations that the exercise was marred with irregularities.
