Former Subukia lawmaker Koigi Wa Wamwere is blaming president Uhuru Kenyatta for failing to handle the security docket in Kenya well.

Wamwere argues that internal security CS Joseph Ole Lenku, Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo and the army boss should resign for bungling the war against increasing ethnic, clan and national terrorism.

Speaking to this writer, Wamwere said the three are guilty but they do not bear responsibility for increased terrorist attacks across the country.

He also blamed the President and his deputy for failing to give the security docket a competent person.

He added: "The President and his deputy bear the highest responsibility for errors of judgment in appointing the three to their current security and defense dockets and for their failures to stem the rise of terrorism in the land. If Ole Lenku, Kimaiyo and Karangi are the only ones to go, there will be no guarantee that Uhuru and Ruto will not reappoint others like them to take their places."

Koigi also suggested that President Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto resign for failures to eradicate terrorism in the land.
