Popular Tanzanian Singer Diamond Platnumz has come out to confess that he never imagined his mother would ever share a birthday with his girlfriend. Diamond’s Kenyan girlfriend Tanasha Donna was born on July 7 which is the exact same date that Diamond’s mother was born too.
“Sikuwahi kufikiria kuna siku itatokea Mwanamke wa Maisha yangu atashare siku ya kuzaliwa na Mama yangu Kipenzi...Licha ya Tareh 07 ya Mwezi wa 07 Kuwa Siku Muhimu, sasa imekuwa ni siku Kubwa kwenye Maisha yangu... Na nitajitahidi kadri ya uwezo wangu kuwaonesha ni kias gani nawapenda ndani ya siku hii.
(I never thought that there would come a day when the woman of my life would share the same birthday with my loving mother. Despite July 7 being important, it has now become even bigger in my life. And I will try to the best of my ability to show how much I love them)" Diamond wrote on Instagram.
This is however not the first time that Diamond who enjoys a huge following in Kenya has come out to hint that 7th of July will indeed be a day to remember.
A few days ago while at a press statement during the launch of Wasafi festival 2019, the singer who is also the founder of WCB records told his fans to watch out for the said date as it will be one to be remembered.
Diamond began dating Tanasha Donna, who is a Kenyan radio presenter, early this year after breaking up with Zari Hassan.
