Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has asked aspirants with complaints about Saturday's Kibra parliamentary seat nominations to appeal.
In a tweet on Sunday, the party asked those not satisfied with the exercise to appeal to the party's dispute resolution tribunal.
"The Disputes Resolution Tribunal is open to receive appeals from yesterday’s nomination exercise in Kibra Constituency. Aspirants with any complaints should present them to Orange House today. We are open up to 5 pm for the same purpose," said ODM.
The party indicated that it has a three-member bench of the tribunal.
"Members of the tribunal are Ms. Jane Matoke (Advocate of the High Court), Mr. Opondo Katieno (Advocate of the High Court) and Mr. Jotham Nyukuri. The team is expected to sit, listen and make determinations as soon as possible," added the Orange Party in the tweet.
On Saturday, Imran Okoth, the late Ken Okoth's brother emerged the winner in the ODM party nominations.
His was as a surprise to many since he had been heckled before in presence of ODM leader Raila Odinga in Kibra.
He garnered a total of 4,382 votes.
Imran will run for the Kibra parliamentary seat by-elections as the ODM candidate.
He will face off with Jubilee Party candidate Macdonald Mariga and ANC's Eliud Owalo among other candidates.
