Members of the clergy in Ukambani have been urged to pray for the leaders in the region and the entire nation so as to exercise servant-hood leadership for the best interest of the citizens.
Addressing a public gathering at St Jude Catholic Church on Monday, Kathiani MP, Robert Mbui, said there is a problem with how leaders from the region work, adding that the national government's executive also keeps engaging in double standards.
"The national government has a lot of double standards, in 2013 the court ruled that the Jubilee government had won the disputed elections and Cord coalition accepted the court's ruling and moved on.Now some of those in government have refused the court's verdict that teachers be awarded their 50-60 salary increment," said Mbui.
Mbui who is also the Wiper Party organising Secretary, faulted the government's efforts to sue Machakos Senator, Johnston Muthama.
He said the senator was being subjected to frustrations from certain individuals adding that Muthama has been forced to move to court everyday walking in the corridors up and down seeking justice.
Mbui said the situation was getting out of hand hence need to seek divide intervention from the men of cloth to avert the situation.
